She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her: 1 Son: Ray Turley of Alum Creek, WV; 1 Sister: Betty Stutter of St. Albans,WV; 2 Grandchildren: Christy and Chris Niece and Caregiver: Peggy West of Alum Creek, WV; 2 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Monday, June 7, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be held in the Forks of Coal Memorial Park, Alum Creek. Friends may call on Sunday, June 6, 1999 from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Wednesday, June 2, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tommy Roberts officiating. Burial will be held in Pauley Cemetery, South Charleston. Friends may call on Tuesday, June 1, 1999 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Stanley Paul “Hooker” Lawrence, Jr., 52 of Cross Lanes died Thursday, May 27, 1999 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Lexington on April 14, 1999.

He was a general contractor, an inventor, an U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Abney Street Church of God, St. Albans.

She was a retired store owner of Cunningham Grocery at Sod and she attended the Sumerco Church of God.

She was a secretary for the West Virginia State Supreme Court of Appeals, was a member of the Brothers in Arms Motorcycle Club, she attended the Maranatha Fellowship Church in St. Albans, was a graduate of Duval High School, Griffithsville, was a former Miss Lincoln County, and she attended Marsall University. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marie Huffman and Billy Dunlap.
