Lester (Michael) Webb, 50, of Hurricane, formerly of South Charleston, died Friday, January 21, 2000 at the home of his sister Jean Schronce after a long illness.
He was a graduate of West Virginia State College, a former math teacher at Dunbar Jr. High School and a Navy Veteran.

Webb at home; Daughter: Andrea Painter of South Charleston, WV; Mother: Mabel Webb Dunaway of Sumerco, WV; Sister: Betty Means of Sumerco, WV; 7 Brothers: James E. Webb of NID; Richard I. Webb of Charleston, WV; William Foster Webb of South Charleston, WV; Bobby L. Webb of South Charleston, WV; Cecil E. Webb of KS; Gifford D. Webb of Southside, WV; Kenneth D. Webb of Poca, WV.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Monday, January 24, 2000 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Carl Lester Bell officiating. Burial will be held in the Means-Webb Cemetery, Sumerco. Friends may call on Sunday, January 23, 2000 from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.
