
Jeremiah Lee Thomas, 75, of South Charleston passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital, Charleston.
Jeremiah retired as a postal clerk from the United States Postal Service. He served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Panama.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jesse Edward Thomas; parents, Jesse & Kathryn Snyder Thomas; and brothers, William J. & Joseph A. Thomas.
Jeremiah is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy; granddaughter, Anna Jade Thomas; sister, Pearl Anderson of Florida; brothers, Jesse S. Thomas, Jr., Robert Thomas, and Jonathan “Eddie” Thomas, all of Florida. He his also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family whom he dearly loved.
Service will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Greg Blake officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends and family will gather one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

My deepest condolences to Nancy and the Thomas family. I’ll always remember Cousin Jerry’s kind smile, gentle laugh and caring nature. May happy memories of Jerry bring us all peace at this difficult time.
