HACKIE BOYD WADE, 64, OF YAWKEY, DIED FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1999 AT THOMAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, SOUTH CHARLESTON, AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.
HE WAS A MACHINIST IN THE NEWSPAPER BUSINESS AND WAS EMPLOYED WITH THE CHARLESTON NEWSPAPERS FOR 18 YEARS, WAS AN ARMY VETERAN AND HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS FATHER, CREED B. WADE AND HIS BROTHER, STANLEY D. WADE.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: MOTHER AND STEP-FATHER: BUNA BL BERT HENSLEY OF BRADINGTON, FL 2 BROTHERS: JACKIE WADE OF PINCH, WV; CREED BUSTER WADE OF LIBERTY, IN; 2 SISTERS: MARY ELIZABETH MILLER OF FLORENCE, AL; DREAMA PARKS OF BRADINGTON, FL;
SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT ORCHARD HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, YAWKEY, ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 1999 AT 2:00 P.M. WITH MINISTER KENNETH MITCHELL OFFICIATING. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1999 FROM 7 TO 9 P.M. AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK.
