NAOMI S. VICKERS, 90, OF YAWKEY DIED SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 1999 AT THOMAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.

SHE WAS A GRADUATE OF MARSHALL UNIVERSITY, HUNTINGTON AND MORRIS HARVEY, CHARLESTON. SHE WAS RETIRED FROM THE LINCOLN COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION HAVING BEEN A PRINCIPAL AT SUMERCO AND MCCORKLE, WAS A MEMBER OF THE WVEA TEACHERS ASSOCIATION, AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS, SOUTH CHARLESTON.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: HUSBAND: SEBERT VICKERS; 1 SON: ROGER VICKERS OF YAWKEY, WV; 1 SISTER: NOCA YOVICH OF BEAVER, PA; 3 BROTHERS: JOHNNIE ADKINS OF HOPEWELL, VA; NOBLE ADKINS OF RAVENSWOOD, WV; JAMES “RED” ADKINS OF RAVENSWOOD, WV; 1 GRANDDAUGHTER: AMY COOPER OF JACKSONVILLE, FL.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 1999 AT 11:00 AM. WITH BISHOP PAUL HINDMAN AND PASTOR OSHEL BELL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN ORCHARD HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, YAWKEY. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 1999 FROM 6 TO 8 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
