EDWARD B. GILLENWATER, SR., 72, OF GRIFFITHSVILLE, DIED SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 1993 IN JACKSON COUNTY OF AN APPARENT HEART ATTACK.
HE WAS A WWII ARMY PARR TROOPER. HE WAS A RETIRED SHEET METAL WORKER AND A MEMBER OF MOUNTAIN STATE BEAGLE ASSOCIATION.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, THELMA;
2 SONS: E. B. GILLENWATER OF GUNTOWN, MS; TIMMY GILLENWATER OF GRIFFITHSVILLE, WV; 1 DAUGHTER: VICKI MARTIN OF ST. ALBANS, WV; 3 BROTHERS: OTIS GILLENWATER OF SUMERCO, WV GUY GILLENWATER OF YAWKEY, WV BILLY GILLENWATER OF YAWKEY, WV; 3 SISTERS: ORPHA DOYLE OF YAWKEY, WV SUDA KESSINGER OF ST. ALBANS, WV CLEO ARMSTRONG OF CHRISTMAS, FL; 6 GRANDCHILDREN; 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3, 1993 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR ROE SMITH OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN PINE GROVE CEMETERY, PINE GROVE, WV. FRIENDS MAY CALL TUESDAY, MARCH 2, 1993 FROM 7 TO 9 PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, IS IN CARE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
