Billy George McCallister, 59, of St. Albans went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 28, 2001 at CAMC General Division.

He was a retired salesman for M & W Distributing of Nitro and a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church, Garretts Bend.

He is survived by: Fiancee: Mae Boggs of St. Albans, WV 2 Sons: Randy McCallister of Liberty, WV Michael McCallister of Garretts Bend, WV 1 Daughter: Savanna Lovejoy; Mother: Virgie McCallister of St. Albans, WV; 1 Sister: Phyllis Devore of Wilmington, NC 5 Grandchildren; 4 Step-Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Friday, August 31, 2001 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jackie Miller and Pastor John Chandler officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery, Garretts Bend. Friends may call Thursday, August 30, 2001, from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.

Woodie W. Kidd, 87 of Alum Creek, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 24, 2001 at Riverside Nursing Home, St. Albans, West Virginia.

He was a retired operator for FMC, Inc., South Charleston, a member of Alum Missionary Baptist Church and preceded in death by son, Billy Ray Kidd.

He is survived by: Wife: Lily; 4 Daughters: Linda McCallister of Yawkey, WV; Brenda Waycaster of Kingsport, TN; Mary Brickey of Grove City, OH; Jean Clawson of South Charleston, WV; 1 Son: Jerry Kidd of Charleston, WV; 1 Brother: Humbard Kidd of Alum Creek, W V; 1 Sister: Helen “Bossie” Booker of Alum Creek, WV; 5 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandson

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Sunday, August 26, 2001 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Kenny Pauley and Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will beheld in Priestley-Pate Cemetery, Sumerco. Friends may call Saturday, August 25, 2001 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.

Reba Isadora Bentley, 76 of Lincoln and Kanawha counties went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2001 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown after a short illness.

Born October 10, 1924. She was the daughter of Richard and Amber Smith Hughes. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Baptist church, a homemaker and was a former employee of Staats Hospital.

She is survived by her: Husband: Willie Bentley; Sister: Elsie M. Legg of Charleston; Nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Services will be held at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek on Tuesday, August 28, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Roe Smith &Rev. Kenneth Dunlap officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, Aug 21, 2001 at Orchard Hills Memory Gardens in Yawkey, WV. Curry Funeral Home at Alum Creek is in charge of arrangements.

He was a retired foreman for Dupont and a member of Randolph Street Baptist Church, Charleston.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, August 18, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Keith Bailey officiating. Entombment will be held in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
