Jack D. Daugherty, 75, of South Charleston died Tuesday, January 18, 2000 at home after a long illness.
He was a retired electrician, a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, a member of the Electricians Retirement Club and a former member of the Davis Creek-Ruthdale Lions Club.
He is survived by his: Wife Esta Cooper Daugherty; 2 Sons: John Doyle Daugherty of Old Orchard Beach, ME; Larry Alan Daugherty of South Charleston,WV; 2 Daughters: Jo Ann Spencer of Ballard, WV; Tracy Rabel of South Charleston, WV; 10 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, January 22, 2000 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Merlin Provance officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call on Friday, January 21, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
