Thank you
I knew Harvey from him being our unit medic during Desert Shield in 1990. He was a wonderful person, caring and open minded. I will miss our arguments. Until Valhalla brother, “First to Fight”! God bless his family and children.
First to fight.
We were glad we had the time we did to spend together when Brighid graduated from high school. The night before he flew out from Seattle, we gave him a ride to where he was staying. Glad we were able to do that for him. You will be missed.
Thank you.
I had the great Honor to serve with Spc Harvey Slonaker during Desert Shield/Storm. with HHC 3/15 Inf. He was our Medic in the Forward Operating Combat Trains. He served with distinction and honor, he was always looking out for his Soldiers, he was a medics Medic. I loved talking to him out in the Desert, Even after all these years I would ask him for a particular photo from the Storm and yes he had it and would send it to me, Thank you Doc for your Service. You will be missed.
Thank you, David.

Dearly missed. Thank you, David.
Brighid, Somya and Seamus, I am so sorry for your loss. You can be proud of your Dad. He served the 3rd Battalion of the 15th Infantry Regiment with distinction and honor. Mark and Gloria, you can be sure that Harvey was a friend to many of us. Because of his connection with us in the Medics Platoon, his absence will be felt profoundly. His kindness will be well regarded for many days to come. You certainly have my condolences.
Thank you, James.
I was a coworkers of Harvey’s at Cabela’s and he was one of my all time favorite coworkers. So funny, kind, and dedicated to his children. We often rode the bus together to and from work, and I drove him when my schedule allowed. I am so saddened by this news, and wish for peace in this challenging time for his family.
Thank you, Carrie.
Harvey was a friend during Desert Shield, we served together, I wish his family all the love and support during this time. Till Valhalla brother.
Thank you, Sam.
My condolences. I served with him during Desert Storm. I remember when his dad was sick just before the ground war and we had to send him home. He didn’t want to leave us. We reassured him to go home and take care of his family. We’ll take care of Saddam Hussein. Again my condolences.
Thank you, Daniel. Our step father actually.
God Bless your family and friends. Thank you for your service! Can Do! First to Fight!!
Thank you, Pete.
Harvey was an amazing, good-hearted man. I met him in 2013, but I felt as if we were “old souls” that knew each other forever. He was an incredibly dedicated father to his children, and taught them so much. My heart goes out to his children, his family, and his friends.
Definitely an amazing father.
May you rest in peace, Harvey. My deepest condolences to your children, family, and friends. Love you, my brother. God Speed
Heartfelt condolences for Harvey’s family and friends. His big sister Gloria has been like family to us and the loss of her brother has brought her grief . It was a shock to her, a totally unexpected thing to hear and accept. They look so much alike, there is no denying they are family and she will miss him.
Harry was a loving, dedicated father who will truly be missed by family & friends.
