Glennith Pack Cooper, 69 of Charleston, died Monday, September 4, 2000 at CAMC Memorial Division after a long illness.

She was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church, Charleston, and was retired from the West Virginia Department of Tax with 25 years of service.

She is survived by her: Husband: Everett “E. J.” Cooper; 1 Daughter: Jackie Cooper Paine of Berkeley Springs, WV; 1 Sister: Ella Mae Saul of Hamlin, WV; 2 Brothers: Rev. Claude Pack of Stollings, WV; Charles Howard Pack of Hamlin, W V; 4 Grandchildren: Holly Michelle, Jonathan David, Elizabeth Anne, and Brooks Andrew Paine.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Thursday, September 7, 2000 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Williams E. Williams and Pastor Oshel Bell officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call on Wednesday, September 6, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.

Lindsey Ray Nunn

Lindsey Ray Nunn, 72 of Sod, died Wednesday, August 30, 2000 at home after a long illness.

He was retired from Union Carbide with 34 years of service, a member of the Alum Creek Church of Christ, and a life long resident of Lincoln County. He recently celebrated his 50th Wedding Anniversary.

He is survived by his: Wife: Phyllis Hartwell Nunn; 3 Daughters: Nancy Crawford of Orange Park, FL; Peggy Bayes of Middleburg, FL; Donna Sowards of Tornado, WV; 1 Son: Steve Nunn of Alum Creek, WV; 2 Brothers: Orville Nunn of Sod, WV; Dale Nunn of Griffithsville, WV; 3 Sisters: Nellie Marmon of Sod, WV; Grace Nunn of Sod, WV; Nina Turley of Alum Creek, WV; 5 Grandchildren: Shawn, Rachel, and Jessica Sowards Bradley and Derek Bayes.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, September 2, 2000 at 1:00 PM with Minister Richard Runyan and Minister Gerald Watts officiating. Burial will be held in Lively Cemetery, Sod. Friends may call on Friday, September 1, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.

Kathey Sue Linville, 42, of Yawkey, departed this life on Wednesday, August 23, 2000 at Thomas Memorial Hospital due to complications associated with diabetes.

She was a CNA employed by Gentiva Health Services for the past 10 years where she touched many lives throughout the Kanawha Valley and surrounding areas by her tender loving care. She was a 1976 graduate of Duval High school. She formerly attended Merritts Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her: Husband: Johnny Linville of Yawkey, WV; Son: Trent Linville of Yawkey, WV; Father & Mother: Rev. Kenneth and Wanda Bell of Griffithsville, WV; Sister: Debbie Stolmeier of Buena Park, CA Brother: Terry Bell of Griffithsville, WV.

Eunice E. Purdy McClure, 83 of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Lincoln county died Saturday, August 19, 2000 at the home of her daughter, Sandra Yurick of Olmsted Township, Ohio.

She was a homemaker and a former member ofthe Beech Grove Baptist Church, Yawkey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clay McClure.

She is also survived by her: 2 Other Daughters: Mrs. Yvonne Jones of Massillon, OH; Rose Gareau of Cleveland, OH; 1 Son: Henry Clay McClure, Jr. of North Royalton, OH; 1 Half Brother: Bobby Jo Purdy of FL; 6 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Tuesday, August 22, 2000 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Oshel Bell officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call on Monday, August 21, 2000 from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Randal L. “DUCKY” Love

Randall L. “DUCKY” Love, 80 of Scott Depot, formerly of St. Albans, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at Regency Place, Scott Depot after a long illness.

He was a retired rigger from Union Carbide, a member of Highlawn Baptist Church of St. Albans, an Army Veteran of W WII where he served in Europe and was a graduate of the Greenbrier Military School.

He is survived by his: Brother: Sam Love of Weirton, WV; Mother in Law: Juanita Stanley of St. Albans, WV; Sister in Law: Linda Jarcett of St. Albans, WV; Neices: Edith Maple of Niles, OH; Donna Parsons of Huntington, WV; Sandy Dines of Pittsburgh, PA; and Janice Figaro of Meoina, OH; Nephew: Sam Love, Jr. of Weirton, WV; 11 Grandnephews and Grandneices.

Services will be held at Highlawn Baptist Church of St. Albans, on Friday, August 18, 2000 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Roger Jarrett, Pastor Joe Hyde and Rev. Joe Jarrett officiating. Entombment will be held in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call on Thursday, August 17, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at Highlawn Baptist Church of St. Albans. She was a former cafeteria supervisor at Duval High School, Griffithsville, a past member of Lincoln County Board of Health, and a member of the Yawkey Methodist Church.

Spurlock of Charleston, WV; 1 Brother: Kern Messinger of Branchland, WV; 4 Sisters: Iris Jean Adkins of Branchland, WV; Kathleen Martin of La Follette, TN; Inez Smith of Nitro, WV; Marlene Farley of Albuquerque, NM; 3 Grandchildren: Jordan, Shannon & Wesley.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Thursday, August 17, 2000 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey.
