Jimmie D. McKinney, 66 of Sod, died Tuesday February 27, 2001 in Thomas Memorial Hospital South Charleston, after a long illness.
He was a member of Laborers Local 1363 and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his: Wife: Phyllis; 2 Daughters: Darrell Tudor of Joes Creek, W V; Shelly Beam of Joes Creek, WV; 1 Son: Mike McKinney of Joes Creek, WV; 1 Sister: Pearl Johnson of Barboursville, WV; 4 Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Thursday, March 1, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Carl Lester Bell officiating. Burial will be held in Pauley Cemetery, Joes Creek. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 28, 2001 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
