PASTOR CLARK U. BRYAN, 90, OF ST. ALBANS DIED TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 1998 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
HE WAS A RETIRED PIPEFITTER FROM UNION CARBIDE, SOUTH CHARLESTON WITH 41 YEARS OF SERVICE AND WAS A MINISTER FOR 53 YEARS PASTORING 15 CHURCHES IN LINCOLN, KANAWHA, PUTNAM, AND MASON COUNTIES. HE WAS A MEMBER OF NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH, COAL RIVER ROAD, ST. ALBANS.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: GRACE; 2 DAUGTHERS: PASTY ESCUE OF MILTON, WV; CONNIE POE OF WILLIAMSON, WV; 1 SISTER: BESS CROUCH OF WILLOW WOOD, OH; CAREGIVERS: JENNIE SERGENT OF TORNADO, WV; RUSSEL AND WANDA CYRUS OF ST. ALBANS, WV; 6 GRANDCHILDREN; 14 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH, COAL RIVER ROAD, ST. ALBANS ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 1998 AT 11:00 AM WITH PASTOR BUTCH LEADMAN AND REV. DAVID BRYAN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN BRYAN CEMETERY, BROWNS CREEK, ST. ALBANS. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 1998 FROM 2 TO 4 PM AND FROM 7 TO 9 PM AT THE CHURCH.
