James “Jim” “Fat Head” Owen Adkins, 47, of Sod, WV, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Thomas Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karlene Faye Abshire Adkins.

He was a self-employed auto mechanic.

Jim is survived by his son, Zackery Adkins, dad, James Calvin (Regina Adams) Adkins, sister, Cheryl Lynn Adkins and former wife Bobbie Adkins.

In accordance with “Fat Heads” wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no services.

Jim we already miss you. You were always there to help us or anyone who needed help. You will be greatly missed. You had the biggest heart of anyone I know. R.I.P.

This can’t be real ? this is like the worst nightmare of my life and your son’s ? WHY did you have to leave US ? we needed you here with us ? WHY couldn’t you just keep her away from you ???? she wasn’t worth your life ???
