Fannie Mae Spears Dickens, 86, of Boone County went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2016 after a long illness at CAMC-General Division, Charleston, WV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dual Spears.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Dickens; daughters, Judy Walker (Butch) and Linda Skeens (William); sons, Roger, Mickey, Gary (Mary), Richard (Tina) and Kenny Spears; sisters, Dovey Shaffer, Patricia Huffman, Birdie Lou Pauley and Dorothy Ash; and 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016, at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Richard McCallister officiating. Burial will follow at Midkiff Cemetery at Sumerco. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
