Gilda J. Brewster, 73, of St. Albans died Wednesday, December 1, 1999 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston after a long illness.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Highlawn Church of God, St. Albans, and a retired employee of the Kroger Co.

She is survived by her Step Daughter: Marilyn Griffith of St. Albans, WV; Step Son: James N. Brewster of Richwood, WV; Sister: Louise Means of South Charleston, WV; 2 Step Grandsons: Trevor Ward of St. Albans, WV; James W. Brewster ofl3ichwood, WV; 2 Step Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held at the Highlawn Church of God, St. Albans, on Friday, December 3, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Roy Young officiating. Burial will be held in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the church. Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, West Virginia is in charge of arrangements.
