BILLY OWEN SAMPSON, 68, OF SUMERCO, FORMERLY OF NELLIS, DIED SATURDAY, APRIL 4, 1998 AT THOMAS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, SOUTH CHARLESTON, AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.

HE WAS A LABORER RETIRED FROM US STEEL AND AN ARMY VETERAN.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS: WIFE: BETTY ERWIN SAMPSON; 1 SON: RICHARD SAMPSON OF PEYTONA, WV; 1 DAUGHTER: PENNY SAMPSON AT HOME; 3 BROTHERS: JOHN SAMPSON OF NELLIS, WV; ROBERT SAMPSON OF RACINE, WV; CECIL SAMPSON, JR. OF NEW BEDFORD, MA; 5 SISTERS: BETTY TONEY OF RACINE, WV; EMMA LOU EDWARDS OF BLOOMINGROSE, WV; JUNE BOWLING OF DRAWDY, WV; GRETA SAMPSON OF MI; DREMA FERRIS OF NV; 4 GRANDSONS.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE FORKS OF COAL CEMETERY, ALUM CREEK, ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 1998 AT 1:00 PM WITH PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN OFFICIATING. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON TUESAY, APRIL 7, 1998 FROM 7 TO 9 PM AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK.

CALDONIA GRALEY COTTRELL, 74, OF CHARLESTON DIED FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 1998 AT THE ARTHUR B. HODGES CENTER AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.  SHE WAS A HOMEMAKER AND ATTENDED THE MOUNTAIN MISSION IN CHARLESTON.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: 3 SONS: LARRY COTTRELL OF ELKVIEW, WV JERRY COTTRELL OF SANFORD, NC RANDY COTTRELL OF PLYMOUTH, MI; 1 SISTER: OPAL MILLER OF SUMERCO, WV; 3 GRANDCHILDREN 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

SERVICES HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON MONDAY, APRIL 6, 1998 AT 1 PM WITH PAULA HILL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN CUNNINGHAM MEMORIAL PARK, ST. ALBANS. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SUNDAY, APRIL 5, 1998 FROM 2 TO 4 PM.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY HER: HUSBAND: BRADIE CARL PRIESTLEY; 2 SONS: DANNY JOE PRIESTLEY OF SOD, WV; TEDDY PRIESTLEY OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 1 DAUGHTER: DOROTHY KAY DEEL OF HUNTSVILLE, AL; 5 GRANDCHILDREN.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME ON FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 1998 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN AND REV. ED DEEL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN PRIESTLEY-PATE CEMETERY, ALUM CREEK.
