MRS. OVA F. LACY, 84 OF PINE GROVE ROAD, SUMERCO, DIED SUNDAY FEBRUARY 7, 1993 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.

SHE WAS A MEMBER OF PINE GROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH AT MCCORKLE, AND WAS A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF LINCOLN COUNTY.
SHE IS SURVIVED BY; 1 DAUGHTER VEODIS LACY OF MCCORKLE 2 SONS; CLINE AND DILLON LACY BOTH OF MCCORKLE 2 BROTHERS; BOYD DUNLAP OF ST ALBANS CAL DUNLAP OF TORNADO 2 SISTERS; GLADYS LOVEJOY OF ALUM CREEK INA DUNLAP OF MCCORKLE 11 GRAND CHILDREN AND 13 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

SERVICES WILL BE 11;00 AM TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 1993 AT THE PINEGROVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH WITH REV OSHEL BELL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE IN PINE GROVE CEMETERY, MCCORKLE. FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 7 TO 9 PM MONDAY AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK.

MRS. ELPHA E. POE, 84 OF YAWKEY DIED SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1993 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
SHE WAS A MEMBER OF THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH AT WOODVILLE AND WAS A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF LINCOLN COUNTY.

MRS. POE IS SURVIVED BY HER HUSBAND, CARL A. POE; 3 SONS: REV. JAMES K POE OF WILLIAMSON, WV; TED G POE OF HUNTINGTON, WV; DAVID L. POE OF CARLINVILLE, ILL 1 BRO; SEBERT VICKERS OF YAWKEY
8 GRANDCHILDREN AND 11 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN

SERVICES WILL BE AT 2:00 PM MONDAY FEBRUARY 8, 1993 AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, ALUM CREEK, WITH THE REV NELLO STEPHENS AND REV CHARLES CHANDLER OFFICIATING.  BURIAL WILL BE IN THE MAY CEMETERY AT GRIFFITHSVILLE.  FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 2 TO 6 PM ON SUNDAY AND 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE ON MONDAY.  CURRY FUNERAL HOME AT ALUM CREEK IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.

JOHN PERRY, 74 OF HURRICANE ALSO WITH A RESIDENCE AT SUMERCO, DIED FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1993 AT PUTNAM GENERAL HOSP. IN HURRICANE AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.

HE WAS A RETIRED MINER AND FIRE BOSS IN THE COAL MINING INDUSTRY AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE UNITED MINE WORKERS OF AMERICA. HE WAS A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF KANAWHA COUNTY.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE; CLARA MARTIN PERRY OF SUMERCO 2 SONS; JOHN PERRY JR. OF COLUMBIA, SC FRANK PERRY OF ST. MATTHEWS, SC 3 STEP DAUS; MELISSA ANN KESSEL OF DUNBAR JANE SPURLOCK JACKSON OF CHARLESTON ROBERTA MARTIN DUNLAP OF SUMERCO 1 BROTHER; MATT PERRY OF EAST BANK 3 SISTERS; CABBIE FLINT OF STANDARD, WV ROSE COTTON OF LAKIN HOSP. MARGARET PLUMLEY OF MALDEN 8 GRANDCHILDREN.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE WILL BE 11:30 AM SUNDAY FEBRUARY 7, 1993 AT ORCHARD HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, AT YAWKEY. FRIENDS MAY CALL 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME ON SUNDAY. CURRY FUNERAL HOME AT ALUM CREEK IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
