HE WAS RETIRED FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA NATIONAL GUARD AS A CWO WITH 42 YEARS COMBINED MILITARY SERVICE AND HE WAS A WWII ARMY VETERAN. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE ALUM CREEK CHURCH OF CHRIST.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, FAYE; 3 SONS: JIMMY DAVIDSON OF ALUM CREEK, WV; DAVID DAVIDSON OF ALUM CREEK, WV; JOE DAVIDSON OF NAPA, CA; 1 BROTHER: JOSEPH SULLIVAN OF PITTSBURGH, PA; 10 GRANDCHILDREN; 3 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME IN ALUM CREEK ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 1996 AT 11:00 AM WITH MINISTER GERALD WATTS AND MINISTER RICHARD RUNYAN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WITH MILITARY GRAVESIDE RITES CONDUCTED BY THE WV NATIONAL GUARD WILL BE HELD IN OWEN FAMILY CEMETERY, ALUM CREEK.
