WILLIAM “BILL” BURNS PRIESTLEY, 67, OF ST. ALBANS, DIED THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 1993 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS. HE WAS FORMERLY OF RIDGEFIELD, NJ.
HE WAS A DECORATED WWII ARMY AIR CORP VETERAN. HE WAS A RETIRED PURCHASING AGENT FOR OWENS-ILLINOIS GLASS CO. IN CHARLESTON, WV AND NORTH BERGEN, NJ WITH 30 YEARS SERVICE. HE WAS A MEMBER AND PAST PRESIDENT OF ODD FELLOWS LODGE IN CHARLESTON. HE WAS A MEMBER OF ALUM CREEK INDEPENDENT MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, HELEN; 1 DAUGHTER: PAULA JANE PRIESTLEY OF ST. ALBANS, WV; 1 SON: STEPHEN PRIESTLEY OF HAMLIN, WV;
1 STEPSON: MICHAEL HENDERSHOT OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 2 BROTHERS: SAM PRIESTLEY OF DETROIT, MI; MONT PRIESTLEY OF HUNTINGTON, WV.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT ALUM CREEK INDEPENDENT MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH ON SATURDAY, MARCH 20, 1993 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR FRANK CHAPMAN OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE IN FORKS OF COAL MEMORIAL PARK, ALUM CREEK. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON FRIDAY, MARCH 19, 1993 AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, FROM 7 TO 9 PM. FRIENDS MAY ALSO CALL 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE ALUM CREEK INDEPENDENT MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH ON SATURDAY. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, IN CARE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS.
