DAVID J. CARUTHERS, 54, OF CHESAPEAKE DIED SUNDAY, MAY 26, 1996 AT HOME AFTER AN APPARENT HEART ATTACK.
HE WAS A PARAMEDIC FOR THE KANAWHA COUNTY AMBULANCE AUTHORITY FOR 17 YEARS, HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MARMET V.F.D. AND HE SERVED IN U.S. ARMY. HE ATTENDED THE MAHONE CHAPEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN ASHFORD.
HE IS SURVIVED BY: MOTHER: BESSIE HUFF OF CHESAPEAKE, WV; 2 BROTHERS: FREDDIE “MICKEY” CARUTHERS OF CLENDENIN, WV; ROGER ALLEN CARUTHERS OF RIDGEVIEW, WV; 2 NIECES AND 3 NEPHEWS.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 29, 1996 AT 11:00 AM WITH REV. PAUL DEBORD AND DEPUTY BRYAN ROBBINS OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN KANAWHA VALLEY MEMORIAL GARDENS, GLASGOW. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON TUESDAY, MAY 28, 1996 FROM 7 TO 9 PM.
