Tyler Forest Trammell, 21, of Ottawa, departed this world after a short illness on Monday, November 21, 2011 to dance with the angels in heaven. He was born September 16, 1990 in Logan, WV.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Nina Lois Trammell and his uncle, James R. Burgess, both of Ottawa, WV. Also, by his maternal grandfather, Larry W. Chambers of Danville, WV, and Barry J. Ulbrich and Scotty Ulbrich, uncle and cousin of Chapmanville, WV.
Tyler graduated from Scott High School in 2009. He was a former player and board member of the Washington District Midget Football League. He attended Spruce Laurel Church; he enjoyed music, knife collecting, four-wheeling, and playing with his dogs, Zero, Pebbles and Midnight. His interests included working on vehicles and being a helper to his friend, Terry Anthony. Tyler was a big fan of WVU Football and liked to watch wrestling with his dad. He was a true joy to everyone and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Kent and Ann Trammell; sister, Allison all of Ottawa; maternal grandmother, Corine Chambers of Bim; papaw, James Marvin White of Bim; uncle, John (Karen) Burgess of Greenview; aunt, Jean Myer of Seacoal; uncle, Kevin (Susan) Trammell, Danville; aunt, Myrtle (Brian) Miller, Salem, VA; aunt, Marilyn (Thomas) Jarrell, Greenview; aunt, Kim (Denzil) Ross of Alum Creek; best friends, Justin Chambers and Zach Ross and numerous other cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Spruce Laurel Church, Clothier with Pastor Paul Little and Ralph Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Park, Danville. Family and friends will gather 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Spruce Laurel Church, PO Box 202, Ottawa, WV 25149 in Tyler’s name.
