She was a homemaker and a member of the McCorkle Free Will Baptist Church.

She is also survived by her: 1 Brother: John Tyler of Moundsville, W V; 1 Granddaughter: Valerie Smith of Alum Creek, WV; 1 Great Grandson: Eric Smith; 1 Great Great Granddaughter: Sydney Smith.

Services will beheld at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Thursday, July 15, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roe Smith and Rev. Oshel Bell officiating. Burial will be held in Lively Cemetery, Sod. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 14, 1999 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Richard Okey Williams, Sr., 59, of Alum Creek died Tuesday, July 6, 1999 at home after a long illness.

He was retired from Kanawha County Schools with 30 years as a bus driver, was a Baptist minister in Kanawha and Lincoln county for the past 33 years, was a member of the American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO and was a member of the Briar Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his: Wife: Shirley; 2 Daughters: Catherine Johnson of Chazleston, WV; Mary Williams of Charleston, WV; 2 Sons: Richard O. Williams, Jr. at home; Keith Allen Williams of St. Albans, WV; 4 Brothers: Kenneth Williams of South Charleston,WV; Benjamin Williams of Charleston, WV; David Williams of OH; Ronald Williams of Lincoln County, WV; 1 Sister: Shirley; 5 Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Friday, July 9, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tommy Roberts officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call on Thursday, July 8, 1999 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.

He was a retired farmer and a member of Central Big Creek Baptist Church.

She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by her: 3 Sons: Wilson Pauley of South Charleston, WV; Bernard Pauley of Charleston, WV; James Pauley of Cleveland, OH; 1 Daugher: Betty Bendixen of Loveland, CO; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren.

Service will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Tuesday, July 6, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Frank Chapman and Pastor Jimmy Waldron officiating. James D. Huffman, 87, of Sumerco died Wednesday, June 30, 1999 at the home of his son, Terry Huffman after a long illness.

He was retired from the laborers local #1353 with 40 years of service, was a former employee of Dougherty Co., was a life long resident of Lincoln county, a charter member of Alkol Lions Club, a Baptist and a democrat.

He is survived by his: 2 Daughters: Agatha Pauley of Alum Creek, W V; Rosales Dinardo of Columbus, OH; 3 Sons: James Pete Huffman of Sod, WV; Jollie Huffman of Sod, WV; Terry Huffman of Sumerco, WV; 1 Brother: Charles D. Huffman of Alkol, W V; 6 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren Caregiver: Janet Lovejoy of Griffithsville, WV.

Graveside services will be held at Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey, on Friday, July 2, 1999 at 7:00 AM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. There will not be a visitation. Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, is in care of the services. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, PO Box 387, Hamlin, WV 25523.

He was retired from Bethlehem Mines and United Mine Workers Local 750 with 58 years service. He was a veteran of WWII and Korean War and was a member of the Chosen Few.

He is Survived by his: Wife: Geraldine Spaulding Kitchen; 1 Son: Allen Kitchen, Jr. of Miami, WV. ; 1 Daughter: Linda Sims of Springhill, WV; 2 Grandchildren whom he raised: Tina Mandrake of Ripley, WV; Matthew Kitchen of Huntington, WV; 1 Great Grandson: Hayden Mandrake of Ripley, WV.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 28, 1999 at the Forks of Coal Cemetery, Alum Creek with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Alum Creek VFW Post 4768. There will be no visitation. Curry Funeral Home Alum Creek is in charge of arrangements.

He was a member of Cobbs Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Sod, where he served as a deacon for several years and was retired from Libby Owens Ford Glass at Charleston.
