Edith Pauley Runyan, 94, of Sod went home to the Lord on Friday, January 5, 2018.

She was a member of the Alum Creek Church of Christ.

Edith was predeceased by her husband, Ferry Runyan.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon (Russell) Harbour and Connie (David) Neal both of Sod.

During her life she was blessed with four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Ministers Richard Runyan and Joseph Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Lively Cemetery, Sod.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Edith was indeed a special person, we want to express our condolence to the family. David had a special place in his heart for Edith and loved seeing her at Church and telling her “Edith you look Marvelous” every time he saw her. She will surely be missed, but is in a better place.

My condolence for the loss of your mother. I believe Edith was my grandmother, Lina Pauley Peter’s, niece.
