Bobby Jack Martin

Bobby Jack Martin, 73, of South Charleston died Friday, January 12, 2007 at home surrounded by his wife and family after a short illness.

He was a member of the Dunbar Masonic Lodge  AF & AM  #159; Scottish Rite Bodies;  the Eastern Star and served as a Chapter Dad for the Demolay’s.   He was a reitred iron worker and member of  the Iron Workers Local #301 with 30 years of service.  He also served in the U. S. Air Force.

 He was preceded in death by his parents: Willard & Templeton Martin; son, Bobby Jack II; and brother, Tommy Martin.

 He is survived by wife:          Donna

 4 Sons:            Michael Smith & wife, Vanessa of Jacksonville, FL

                        David Wayne Martin of Charleston

                        Bobby Joe Martin & wife, Kimberly of So. Charleston

                        Roy “Bim” Mannon & wife, Robin of So. Charleston

 2 Daughters:   Jackie Hoover & husband, Alan of Harrisville

                        Alana Gail Moses & husband, Greg of Charleston

 1 Sister:          Helen Duncan & husband, Dexter of So. Charleston

 7 Grandchildren

2 Great grandchildren

2 beloved pugs:          Shii-anna and Ciara

 Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 15, 2007 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek with Pastor Gail Medley officiating.  Entombment will be at Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum with Masonic Graveside Rites by Dunbar Masonic Lodge #159.   Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
