Frances Lee Adkins Hudson White, 65, of Yawkey passed at home Monday, July 13, 2015.
Frances worked at Inter Forrest Corp. Veneer Plant in Hopewell, PA.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charles Adkins and Jewell Vann; brothers, Junior and Raven Adkins; sister, Ellie Mays and stepson, Wesley.
Frances is survived by sons, James W. Adkins (Lisa Huffman) and Buster Adkins; daughters, Vickie Lynn Woolley (Chris) and Normal Hudson (Howard Ammon); stepchildren, Dale, Jenny, Missy, Dinky and Dumpy; brother, Samuel Wayne Adkins; sisters, Mona and Missy Adkins; stepmother who raised Frances, Anna May Adkins McCallister; special granddaughter, Shayla Gibson, who helped care for her; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Curry Funeral Home in Alum Creek with Pastors Rexal Cooper and K. D. Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at Dogbone Cemetery in Alkol. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations for the funeral service.
Frances was my aunt. she was married to James Webster Adkins. He Passed away in August 1971. I never knew where she was after that. I am so sorry for your loss, My mother was his sister Beulah Dotson.
