Words cannot express the sadness and sorrow I am feeling for the Vickers family. I have loved each and every one after meeting so many years ago through Rodger. My brother, Mike used to work with him and I met him in that way. I had the wonderful privilege of spending much time with him and getting to know him very well. He loved his family so much and was very dedicated to them. Rodger was a very proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and had so many fond memories of his service. Anything he did he put so much dedication and love behind it. My Dad and Mom, George and Jean Changes loved him so much and considered him very much a part of our family. My Dad introduced Rodger into the American Legion and they were both involved in helping with military funerals. He was such a special person. Anyone that knew him had much admiration for him.
All my love and prayers go out to Marie, Wayne and Bobby for losing such a wonderful son, and brother at such a young age..I am so sorry.
