Russell James Roberts, 81, of Sumerco went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 28, 2006
He was a retired coal miner with U. S. Steel. He was a highly decorated Tech Sergeant for the U.S. Army during WW II.

Service will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2006 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek with Rev. Linda Withrow officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Benny Padilla VFW Post 4768.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
