Peggy Anna Adkins, 57, of Alkol went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Hospice West, South Charleston.
She was a homemaker and a Christian. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Vannater and Virgie Vannatter Long; former husbands, Jerry Delain Adkins, Mike Cooperider and brother, Wetzell Vannatter.
She is survived by her former husband, Dwight Adkins; Sons, Scotty Delain Adkins and Stacey Ron Adkins; daughter, Kristin Michelle Cooperider Grayley; sisters, Helen Kincaid, Janet Angel (Corbet), Brenda Adams (C.A.), Arzella Vannater; brothers, Wilburn “Webb” Vannatter, George Dean (Mona) Vannatter and Lonnie Vannatter; three grandchildren, Shanell Elaine Adkins, Karissa Delainey Adkins, Kaleb Adkins and Kimberly Rowsley.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek with Pastor K. D. Bragg officiating. Burial will follow in Bear Branch Cemetery, Spurlockville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
