Birdie Marie Priestley, 93, of Winfield, Alabama, formerly of Alum Creek, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Walker Baptist Hospital, Jasper, Alabama after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester.
She was a former member of Cobbs Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Sod and she currently attended the Baptist church in Winfield, Alabama.
She is survived by her son, Rudy Priestly and his wife, Judy of Hurricane; daughter, Wilma Smith of Winfield, AL; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Pastor Paul Meadows officiating. Burial will be held in Lively Cemetery, Sod. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
