HE WAS A 1995 GRADUATE OF DUVAL HIGH SCHOOL, GRIFFITHSVILLE. HE WAS EMPLOYED BY THE CHARLESTON TOWN CENTER AND HE WAS A FRESHMAN AT WEST VIRGINIA STATE COLLEGE WHERE HE WAS STUDYING TO BE AN ARCHITECT. HE PARTICIPATED IN THE ROTC PROGRAM AT WV STATE COLLEGE. HE ATTENDED ALUM CREEK CHURCH OF CHRIST. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PATERNAL GRANDFATHER, HOYLE NEAL AND HIS MATERNAL GRANDFATHER, FERRY RUNYAN.
