HE WAS A MEMBER OF ELIZABETH BAPTIST CHURCH AT GARRETTS BEND WHERE HE SERVED AS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER AND DEACON. RUBY WAS A LIFE LONG RESIDENT OF LINCOLN COUNTY AND WAS AN ARMY VETERAN DURING THE VEITNAM WAR.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE: HELEN; 2 SONS: STEVEN & MARK BOTH AT HOME; MOTHER: MRS. BARBARA RUBY OF ALUM CREEK; FATHER: MR. CARTER RUBY OF ALUM CREEK; 2 SISTERS: CAROL NEWCOMER OF ALUM CREEK ANITA RUBY OF ALUM CREEK; 2 BROTHERS: FRANK RUBY OF SO CHARLESTON RICHARD RUBY OF SOD.
