BENJAMIN WAYNE SUTPHIN, 58, OF YAWKEY DIED THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 1996 AT HOME AFTER A LONG ILLNESS.
HE WAS RETIRED FROM SAUL CONSTRUCTION AS A MECHANIC WITH 26 YEARS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF SUMMIT RIDGE COMMUNITY CHURCH.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, SHARON; 1 DAUGHTER: LORA DUNLAP OF YAWKEY, WV; 1 SON: JEFFERY WAYNE SUTPHIN AT HOME; PARENTS: OWEN AND MARY SUTPHIN OF SMITHSVILLE, WV; 5 BROTHERS: RAYMOND SUTPHIN OF ALKOL, WV; JACKIE SUTPHIN OF SMITHSVILLE, WV; CURTIS SUTPHIN OF SMITHSVILLE, WV; DEAN SUTPHIN OF SO. CAROLINA; ROGER SUTPHIN OF HARRISVILLE, WV; 1 SISTER: VIVIAN LAUFF OF SMITHSVILLE, WV.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK, ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1996 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR OSHEL BELL OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN BEECH GROVE CEMETERY, YAWKEY. FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 1996 FROM 7 TO 9 PM.
