Even in death, she still speaks with her words of wisdom which will always be remembered by those who knew her.

Frieda was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Elsie Adkins of Chesapeake, Ohio; a sister, Marjorie Wolfe of Proctorville, Ohio; and her brother, Melvin Adkins, Jr., who lived but a short time.

In addition, there are numerous relatives, friends and neighbors who are saddened today because of her home-going.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013, at Twin City Bible Church, 100 1st. Ave., Nitro, West Virginia. Her husband, Phil, will be officiating. Her family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, prior to the funeral service. Burial will be the following day, Saturday, September 14, 2013 (11:00 a.m.) at Highland Memorial Gardens, 198 Private Road 1336, South Point, Ohio.
