Arley, I am so sorry to just now hear of Nell’s passing. I was in church in Spring Hill, and Dale Akers told me that Nell had died. I am so sorry, but I don’t read the paper and no one called me that knew about it. She was so special to all that knew her. She was so good to my parents. She loved all – I will never forget her. I am truly sorry that I wasn’t there for you and your family. So sorry. We will be over to see you later. We are going to the Disney World with Ed and his family. I told Troy and he was sorry, you and Nell used to walk down to where he was living at the time. Oh mercy Arley I love you. She was the greatest. God had other plans for her. I’m surprised Art Moore didn’t call me.

I just found this condolance link and though late, had to post. Nell was one of the warmest people I have ever met, a great cook and just a wonderful person. I so hated to hear of her illness and subsequent death. She will be truly missed by many but not forgotten. My sincere condolences to the family.

Nell was such a sweet person and good friend to mom. She was always kind, full of life and made everyone around her feel special. Due to her illness I know that it’s been awhile since she has been that person but that is the person that she truly was and how I and everyone else will remember her……

To the Moore Family, Nell was such a great person, just classy. Mike has told so many fun stories of her, being at your house when he was young. Prayers for your heart’s peace.

Uncle Arley & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Nell was a huge part of my childhood while we lived in West Virginia. She was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met & I loved her very much. Mom & Dad loved her and always spoke highly of her kind heart. I remember her giving me my first hair cut. Oh how I had to beg her and Mom to do it! Little did I know it was Dad whom they knew would be upset, but they done it and I had to sit quietly on the couch until dad came home from work. But he noticed it first thing, and Mom had to do some explaining. Uncle Arley, I hated that potato patch, but I loved helping you. That ole mule always wanted to kick me when I got too close! You always protected me. David, do you remember the egg turner? (grandma always called it that) How many times did we get chased by that thing? All because we ate her big purple grapes that she used to make jelly. Wow they tasted so good! That is like hanging candy bars on a bush and telling the kids not to touch! How about that hog? and the chickens? We used to have so much fun. Little Donna was too young to be our partner in crime so we always played dolls at home with her.Edward, I think you were the good child. I do not remember you getting in to trouble. Arlene you were born later and missed out on our adventures. I only had the pleasure of meeting you a couple of times. I Dearly loved your Mom, she taught me a lot growing up. I enjoy sewing to this day because she taught me. I apologize for not visiting. After Mom & Dad passed away, I hurt so bad and wanted to stay away from the pain of loosing those I love most. But it does not work that way. Please know that you are in my heart and I am praying for peace for all of you. Hold tight to the memories, for they mean so much. Love & Hugs to each of you.

My prayers go out to the family. I worked with Arlene at Kroger and saw your Wife/Mom on a regular basis the years I worked there. She was a very sweet and nice lady. Loved when she came in.
