Eunice E. Purdy McClure, 83 of Cleveland, Ohio, formerly of Lincoln county died Saturday, August 19, 2000 at the home of her daughter, Sandra Yurick of Olmsted Township, Ohio.

She was a homemaker and a former member ofthe Beech Grove Baptist Church, Yawkey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clay McClure.

She is also survived by her: 2 Other Daughters: Mrs. Yvonne Jones of Massillon, OH; Rose Gareau of Cleveland, OH; 1 Son: Henry Clay McClure, Jr. of North Royalton, OH; 1 Half Brother: Bobby Jo Purdy of FL; 6 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Tuesday, August 22, 2000 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Oshel Bell officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call on Monday, August 21, 2000 from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Randall L. “DUCKY” Love, 80 of Scott Depot, formerly of St. Albans, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at Regency Place, Scott Depot after a long illness.

He was a retired rigger from Union Carbide, a member of Highlawn Baptist Church of St. Albans, an Army Veteran of W WII where he served in Europe and was a graduate of the Greenbrier Military School.

He is survived by his: Brother: Sam Love of Weirton, WV; Mother in Law: Juanita Stanley of St. Albans, WV; Sister in Law: Linda Jarcett of St. Albans, WV; Neices: Edith Maple of Niles, OH; Donna Parsons of Huntington, WV; Sandy Dines of Pittsburgh, PA; and Janice Figaro of Meoina, OH; Nephew: Sam Love, Jr. of Weirton, WV; 11 Grandnephews and Grandneices.

Services will be held at Highlawn Baptist Church of St. Albans, on Friday, August 18, 2000 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Roger Jarrett, Pastor Joe Hyde and Rev. Joe Jarrett officiating. Entombment will be held in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call on Thursday, August 17, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at Highlawn Baptist Church of St. Albans. Marie Spurlock, 74 of Griffithsville, died Tuesday, August 15, 2000 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston after a short illness.

She was a former cafeteria supervisor at Duval High School, Griffithsville, a past member of Lincoln County Board of Health, and a member of the Yawkey Methodist Church.

She is survived by: 2 Sons: David P. Spurlock of Alum Creek, WV; Jeffrey K. Spurlock of Charleston, WV; 1 Brother: Kern Messinger of Branchland, WV; 4 Sisters: Iris Jean Adkins of Branchland, WV; Kathleen Martin of La Follette, TN; Inez Smith of Nitro, WV; Marlene Farley of Albuquerque, NM; 3 Grandchildren: Jordan, Shannon & Wesley.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Thursday, August 17, 2000 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 16, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Yawkey Methodist Church, Yawkey, West Virginia 25573.

She was a retired employee from Shawnee Hills and she attended the Assembly of God in Chesapeake.

Arthur “Archie” McCormick, 74 of Sumerco, died Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital after an apparent heart attack.

He was retired from F.M.C., South Charleston, with 31 years of service, was a member of the Sumerco Church of God, and was a life long resident of Lincoln county.
