Irene Elizabeth Humphrey Saul, 86 of Yawkey, died Monday, July 1, 2002 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Saul was the loving wife for 63 years of Crever Lewis Saul. Born March 15, 1916, the daughter of Columbus and Daisy Hill Humphrey. She was also preceded in death by the only child, Bobby Eldon Saul.
Mrs Saul was a lifelong member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church where she was the pianist, she was also a member of the Eastern Star Lodge # 106 of Hamlin.
She will be greatly missed by her family

Services will be held at Beech Grove Baptist Church, Yawkey, on Thursday, July 4, 2002 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Oshel Bell and Pastor Henry Estep officiating. Burial will be in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm Wednesday at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek where Order of the Eastem Star service will be conducted by O.E.S. Chapter 106 Hamlin at 7:00 PM. In liew of flowers family suggest donations be made to Shepherd Center, Cure for Spinal Cord Injuries, 2020 Peachtree Rd.
