David Joe Vickers, 40 of Huntington, died Sunday, November 5, 2000 at Cabell Huntington Hospital after an apparent heart attack.

Charles Andrew Worley, II, 36 of Alum Creek, died Friday, November 3, 2000 from being murdered at the home of his sister, Elaine Alexander of Seabrook, New Hampshire.
He was graduate of G. W. High School, a heating and cooling service technician for Ronald Langlois in New Hampshire and was a life long resident of Kanawha county.

Sean “Michael” Sebastian, 8 of Sod, died Tuesday, October 31, 2000 after being hit by a car while trick or treating.

John “Big John” Graley, III, 44 of Sod, died Saturday, October 28, 2000 at Dicks Creek in Boone County from an ATV accident.
He was a graduate of G. W. High School, a former coal miner for AEP and a former member of UMW, was a truck driver for Dana Transport in Nitro with 8 years of service, a member of the Nitro Moose and a former baseball coach for Alum Creek Little League.

She was a retired buyer from G. C. Murphy, was baptized into the membership of the Briar Creek Baptist Church in 1930 and attended the Cathedral of Prayer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Akers.

He was a retired truck driver for McJunkin Corporation, Nitro with 30 years service. He was a member of the Griffithsville Masonic Lodge 71 AF & AM ,was very active in community service including Duval High School athletic program.
