Edward Zack Childress, 77,of South Charleston died Sunday, March 14, 1999 at home after a short illness.

He was a retired FMC truck driver with 37 years service, a member of the Bible Center Church in Charleston, a member of the Dunbar Masonic Lodge and a W WII Army Veteran.

He is survived by his: Wife: Lillian; 2 Daughters: Lola Jean Roberts of South Charleston, WV; Cathy Busch of Cross Lanes, WV; 1 Brother: Dr. Ross Childress of South Charleston, WV; 2 Sisters: Ruth Kinder of Alum Creek, W V; Jean Boone of Toledo, OH; 5 Grandchildren.

Services will beheld at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on March 16, 1999 at 1:00 PM with Pator Peter Faulkner officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers family suggest donations to the American Heart Association, 1319 Quarrier Street, Charleston, W est Virginia 25301.

Romie E. McCormick, 80, of Alum Creek died Friday, March 12, 1999 at CAMC Memorial Division after a short illness.

He was a mechanic retired from Whites Garage in Charleston.

He is survived by his: Wife: Shirley; 1 Son: Larry McCormick of Charleston, WV; 1Daughter: Margaret Egnor of Cincinnati, OH; 1 Step-Daughter: Sandra Myers of Clay County, WV; 1 Step-Son: Travis James Walker of Alum Creek, WV; 4 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 2 Step-Granddaughters.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Sunday, Mazch 14, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will be held in Forks of Coal Memorial Park, Alum Creek. Friends may call on Saturday, March 13, 1999 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

She was a math teacher in Putnam and Kanawha counties, and a member ofthe W VEA. She received her masters from Moms Harvey and was a graduate of Marshall University, was a member of the Highlawn Baptist Church, St. Albans, where she was a member of the Mary Gray Circle and BrittWomack Sunday school class.

She is survived by her: 2 Daughters: Jean Thomas of St. Albans, WV; Ruth Ellen Clement of Jacksonville, FL; 8 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Highlawn Baptist Church, St. Albans, on Saturday, March 6, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Dr. LeRoy Kenney and Dr. Charles Hendricks officiating. Entombment will be held in the Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call on Friday, March 5, 1999 from 2 to 4 PM and from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church. Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, is in chazge of arrangements.
