Iola Abbott Bostic, 78 of Alkol, died Friday, May 18, 2001 at home after a long illness.
She was a retired medical customer service representative.
She is survived by her: 1 Daughter: Anna Chapman of Alkol, WV; 1 Son: Harley D. Chapman, FL; 3 Sisters: Irene Abbott of Alkol, WV; Emma Keller of Madison, AL; Eloise Thompson of Alkol, WV; 3 Brothers: Charley Abbott of Julian, WV; Cleo Abbott ofAlkol, WV; Herman Abbott of Walton, WV; 2 Step-Daughters: Virginia Sneed of FL; Charlotte Fields of Charleston, WV; 5 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Sunday, May 20, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Darrell Searls officiating. Burial will be held in Stone Cemetery, Alkol. Friends may call on Saturday, May 19, 2001 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
