Garrett L. Adkins, 62 of Alkol, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at CAMC General Division after a long illness.
He is survived by his: Wife Lilly; 3 Daughters: Connie Stollings of Madison; Amy and Kristen both at home; 2 Sons: Rodney of Sod; Leon of Hamlin; 4 Sisters: Geraldine Smith of Ridgeview; Kay Allen of Julian; Yvonne Lacy of Sod; Dreama Williams of Clothier; 2 Brothers: Bethel of Foster; Brian of Rock Creek;
10 Grandchildren; 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Friday, April 20, 2001 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Ralph Hayes officiating. Burial will be held in the Old Pine Grove Cemetery, McCorkle. Friends may call on Thursday, April 19, 2001 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
