Keith Newcomer, 85 of Hamlin, died Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after a long illness.
He was a WWII Army veteran.
He is survived by his: Wife: Margaret; 4 Sons: Don Newcomer of St. Albans, WV; John Rose of Brewster, OH; Earl Keith Newcomer of Concord, NC; Terry L. Newcomer of Hamlin, W V; 3 Daughters: Phyllis Linville of Wooster, OH; Wilma Wade of Hamlin, WV; Penny Young of Alum Creek, W V; 2 Sisters: Margaret Slappee of Charleston, WV; Betty Triplett of St. Cloud, FL; 1 Brother: Gordon Newcomer of Oklahoma City, OK; 16 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren.
Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek on Saturday, Apri121, 2001 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Carl Lester Bell officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call on Friday, April 20, 2001 from 7 to 9 PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
