Rosie Mae Wood, 75, of Bidwell, Ohio, formerly of Kanawha County, died Friday, December 24, 1999 at Holzer Hospital, Gallipolis, Ohio after a long illness.

She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Alum Creek Church of God.

She is survived by her: 3 Daughters: Rebecca Burdette of Bidwell, OH; Nancey Allen of South Charleston, WV; Martha Hartwell of Spencer, WV; 4 Sisters: Christine Hawkins of South Point, OH; Pearl Slaughter ofKelleys Creek, WV; Arelda Dulaney of Ashland, KY; Lonna Clark of Apple Grove, WV; 8 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; 34 Great Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Wednesday, December 29,1999 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Arbaugh and Deacon Harve Ferrell officiating. Burial will be held in Wood Family Cemetery, Alum Creek. Friends may call on Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.

He was retired from Libby Owens Ford and attended Community Chapel, Cross Lanes.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek on Monday, December 27, 1999 at 2:00 PM with Rev. William Layne and Rev. Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will be held in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Friends may call on Sunday, December 26, 1999 from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home.

She was the widow of the late Rev. Clark Bryan a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, St. Albans.

Services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church on Monday, December 27, 1999 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robert Leadman officiating. Burial will be held in Bryan Family Cemetery, St. Albans. Friends may call on Sunday, December 26, 1999 from 5 to 9 PM at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek. Friends may also call on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. Hal S. Vickers, 98, of Alkol died Wednesday, November 17, 1999 at CAMC Memorial Division after a long illness.

He was a retired well driller for Owens-Libby Owens Gas Co.. Prior to that he delivered the Gazette and Daily Mail in the Boone and Lincoln County areas and he was a Christian for 70 years and a member of Morrisvale Missonary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a former member of Sycamore Grove Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for 50 years, a choir director and a Sunday School teacher.

He is survived by his:
