Joyce Lynn Pauley Kirk, a life long resident of Alum Creek, West Virginia, died at home Monday, February 4, 2002 of cancer.
She was a member of the Alum Creek Church of Christ. Joyce was a graduate of Duval High School and was an employee of Carrier Mid-Atlantic. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Pauley of Alum Creek.
Joyce is survived by her: Husband: David M.; Mother: Mary Pauley of Alum Creek; 2 Brothers: Larry Pauley of Sod; David Pauley of South Charleston; Nieces: Betsy Walker of Cross Lanes; Lesli Smith of South Charleston; Charity Honaker of St. Albans; Nephews: Craig Pauley of Farmville, VA; Bruce Pauley of South Charleston; Father and Mother-in-law: James and Lois Kirk of Hurricane; Sister-in-law: Cathy Dunlap of Inverness, FL.
Services will be held Thursday, February 7, 2002 at 1:00 PM at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Minister Gerald Watts and Minister Justin Imel officiating. Burial will be held in Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 6, 2002 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
