HE WAS A RETIRED SHEET METAL WORKER FOR HARRIS BROTHERS ROOFING CO. IN CHARLESTON WITH 40 YEARS SERVICE AND WAS A MEMBER OF SHEET METAL WORKERS LOCAL #`33 AND THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SHEET METAL WORKERS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF HOPEWELL BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE HE SERVED AS A DEACON, SUNDAY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDANT AND SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER FOR MANY YEARS. HE WAS A WWII ARMY VETERAN.

HE IS SURVIVED BY: 2 SONS: STEVE RABEL OF CROSS LANES, WV; ROGER RABEL OF CROSS LANES, WV; MOTHER: MRS. MAUDE RABEL OF SO CHARLESTON, WV; 2 SISTERS: BARBARA GREENE OF SO CHARLESTON, WV; BETTY CURRY OF ALUM CREEK, WV; 2 BROTHERS: HUBERT RABEL OF SOD, WV; DANNY RABEL OF GREEN BANK, WV; 3 GRANDCHILDREN: KRISTY, ANDREW AND JONATHAN.
