Helena B. Debord, 92, of Sumerco, formerly of Brier Creek died Thursday, May 13, 1999 at Boone Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Danville, after a long illness.

She was a homemaker and a 20 year member of Cobbs Creek Missonary Baptist Church at Sod.

She is survived by her: 1 Daughter: Billie Means of Sumerco, W V; 2 Sons: Marvin Roberts of Dunbar, W V; Gordon Roberts of Sumerco, WV; 1 Sister: Icy Roberts ofBrounland,WV; 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 1999 at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with Patstor Clarence Hutton and Pastor Arnold B. Cook officiating. Burial will be held in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call on Saturday, May 15, 1999 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the firneral home.

She was a homemaker and a member of Northern Baptist Church in Bradenton.

She is survived by her: 1 Sister: Arvilla Grubb of Las Vegas, NV; 3 Brothers: Richard Owen Spradling of St. Albans, WV; Glen Edgar Spradling of Norwood, OH; Allen Louis Spradling of St. Albans, WV.

Services will be held at the Graceland Memorial Park on Monday, May 17, 1999 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Peter Faulkner officiating. Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, in care of services. There will not be a visitation.

Angela Dawn Huffman Anderson, 25, of Sumerco died Sunday, May 9, 1999 at CAMC General Division from injuries received in a Motorcycle -Ambulance collision on Saturday, May 8, 1999 at the intersection at MacCorkle Avenue and Corridor G.

She was a secretary for the West Virginia State Supreme Court of Appeals, was a member of the Brothers in Arms Motorcycle Club, she attended the Maranatha Fellowship Church in St. Albans, was a graduate of Duval High School, Griffithsville, was a former Miss Lincoln County, and she attended Marsall University. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marie Huffman and Billy Dunlap.

She is survived by her: Husband: Robbie Anderson; Mother: Lillian Huffman of Yawkey, WV; Father and Step-Mother: Terry and Debbie Huffman of Sumerco, WV; 1 Brother: Brian Huffman of Sumerco, W V; Paternal Grandfather: Jim Huffman of Sumerco, WV; Maternal Grandmother and Step-Grandfather: Thelma and Homer Torman of Garretts Bend, WV; Nephew: Caleb Huffman of Sumerco, WV; Niece: Jadde Linville of Sumerco, WV; Sister-in-Law: Shawna Huffman of Sumerco, WV; God-Mother: Kathy Midkiff of Alum Creek, W V;

She was a homemaker and a member of Forks of Coal Missionary Baptist Church, Alum Creek. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Raymond Hoon and Jack Hoon.

She is survived by her: 1 Son: Larry Ramsey of Alum Creek, WV; 3 Sisters: Thelma Rudder of Dunedin, FL; Dorothy Merryman of Hopewell, VA; Betty Toney ofBridgville, PA.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek on Saturday, May 1, 1999 with Pastor Butch Leadman and Pastor Jody Pistore offtciating. Burial will be held in the Forks of Coal Cemetery, Alum Creek. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
