Paul V. Cunningham, 71 of St. Albans, died Thursday, January 18, 2001 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, after a short illness.

He was a retired executive vice-president over operations at One Valley Bank, Charleston with 42 years of service.

He is survived by his: Wife: Doris; 3 Daughters: Patsy Brown of Chesterfield, VA; Linda S. Cunningham of Pittsburgh, PA; Judy Cunningham of Nitro, WV; 2 Sisters: Marie Wright of Huntington, WV; Lydia Rainey of Point Pleasant, WV; 1 Brother: Charles Cunningham, 3 Grandsons: Eric, Travis and Brian.

Services will be held at Highlawn Baptist Church, St. Albans, on Sunday, January 21, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dr. Joe Hyde officiating. Entombment will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call on Saturday, January 20, 2001 from 6 to 8 PM at the Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek and one hour prior to service at the church. The family suggest donations be made to the Highlawn Baptist Church Building Fund, 2304 Jefferson Avenue, St. Albans, WV 25177.

Harold Tudor

Harold Tudor, 77 of Yawkey, died Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at home after a long illness.

He was a construction worker and a member of West Virginia Laborers Local 1353 and a member of the Christian Out Reach Center at Alum Creek.

He is survived by his: Wife: Louise; 1 Son: David Tudor of Sod, WV; 2 Daughters: Nancy Harless of Sumerco, WV; Colleen Meadows of Alkol, WV; 2 Sisters: Glenna Taylor of Elkview, WV; Anna Mae Breedlove of Yawkey, WV; 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, on Saturday, January 20, 2001 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kenny Pauley officiating. Burial will be held in Dunlap Cemetery, Tango. Friends may call on Friday, January 19, 2001 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.

Lucille Griffith, 75 of McCorkle, died Saturday, January 13, 2001 at home after a long illness.

She was retired from the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and also West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources in Charleston with 25 years service. She also was a member of McCorkle Freewill Baptist Church and a 1944 Graduate of Duval High School.

She is survived by her: 2 Daughters: Sharon Dunlap of McCorkle, WV; Marcia Meeks of Winfield, WV; 1 Son: Melvin Griffith of Sod, W V; 2 Brothers: Cryil Smith of Glouster Point, VA; Shelton Smith of McCorkle, WV; 5 Grandsons.

Services will be held at McCorkle Freewill Baptist Church, McCorkle on Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Roe Smith officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, McCorkle. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, January 15, 2001 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek.

He was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Union Local 1207, Charleston.

He is survived by his: Wife: Betty; Son: Alan Waldron of Alum Creek, WV; 2 Daughters: April Waldron of Alum Creek, WV; Crystal Ashworth of Milton, WV; Sister: Deloris Jean Turley of Sod, WV; 3 Grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Forks of Coal Cemetery, Alum Creek, on Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. There will be no visitation. Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek is in charge of arrangements.
