For a Christmas present to the family our mom was asked to write about her greatest blessing. This is what she wrote to us.

I was asked to write about my greatest blessing. Well, that this is pretty hard to do. He has blessed me with so many. A dear sainted mother who raised me and my seven brothers and one sister all on her own and took us to church. Then He blessed me with a wonderful, loving Christian husband who was an old time minister, preaching God’s word. He also blessed me with 4 wonderful Christian children, nine loving grandchildren who love the Lord and also fourteen adorable great-grandchildren and a new special one on the way! I guess I’d have to say my greatest blessing would  have to be my loving family. It’s such a great blessing when we all get together. We enjoy the love we have for each other. He has overflowed me with His great love and wonderful blessings He bestows upon me each and everyday. I praise Him and thank Him everyday for all my friends and loved ones. It’s a great blessing just to know the Lord.

This was our mother. What more could we have ask God to give us?
