HE WAS A MEMBER OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF KANAWHA CITY. HE WAS A MEMBER OF AF & AM GRAND LODGE #79 AT HAMLIN. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE GUYANDOTTE GRAND CHAPTER #10 OF ROYAL ARCH MASONS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF THE WHITE SHRINE OF JERUSALEM. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE GRAND COMMANDERY KNIGHTS TEMPLAR AT HUNTINGTON AND A MEMBER OF BENI KEDEM TEMPLE IN CHARLESTON.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, GLADYS, AND SEVERAL GRANDCHILDREN.
