DOT CHANDLER, 78 OF ALKOL, DIED THURSDAY, JUNE 15, 1995 AT CAMC MEMORIAL DIVISION AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS.
HE WAS A RETIRED DOZER OPERATOR FOR CABOT GAS. HE WAS A MEMBER OF SYCAMORE GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH WHERE HE SERVED AS AN USHER FOR MANY YEARS. HE WAS A WWII ARMY VETERAN AND A LIFELONG RESIDENT OF LINCOLN COUNTY.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, JUDY; 2 BROTHERS: ROY CHANDLER OF LOGAN, WV; JIMMY CHANDLER OF LOGAN, WV; 4 SISTERS: LORA STOWERS OF CULLODEN, WV; MARIE COLLINS OF ALKOL, WV; MILDRED HUGHES OF CULLODEN, WV; THELMA KESSELENE RICHARDSON OF CULLODEN, WV.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT SYCAMORE GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH, ALKOL, ON SUNDAY, JUNE 18, 1995 AT 2:00 PM WITH PASTOR DARRELL SEARLS AND REV. DWIGHT MCCLURE OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE HELD IN ORCHARD HILLS MEMORY GARDENS, YAWKEY. FRIENDS MAY CALL ON SATURDAY, JUNE 17, 1995 FROM 7:00 TO 8:30 PM AT THE CURRY FUNERAL HOME, ALUM CREEK.
