He is survived by his: Parents: Russel Strickland and Bambie White; Maternal Grandparents: Juanita Porter of Sumerco, WV; Jerry White of Portsmouth, VA; Paternal Grandmother and Step-Grandfather: Virginia and Brian Krebs ofElkview, WV; Maternal Great Grandmothers: Faye McCallister of Sumerco, WV; Elma White of Alum Creek, WV; Paternal Great Grandfather: Henry Perdue of Alum Creek, WV.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2000 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Richard McCallister and Pastor Butch Loftis officiating. Burial will be held in Midkiff Cemetery, Sumerco. Friends may call on Tuesday one prior to the service.

She is surived by her: 1 Daughter: Peggy Childress of Alum Creek, WV; 1 Sister: Margaret Spruce Ridinger of FL; 1 Grandson: Steven Wayne Childress of Alum Creek, WV; 1 Great Grandson: Steven Wayne Childress II of IL.

A memorial service will be held at Morris Memorial Methodist Church, Charleston on Saturday, October 7, 2000 at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Holtsclaw officiating. Friends may visit with family after service at the church. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Morris Memorial Methodist Church Building Fund.

She was a driver for a car transportation business for the past 10 years and was a member of the Moose Club #868 in St. Albans.

Erma Mae Dragoo, 82, of Yawkey died Tuesday, October 3, 2000 at the home of her sister, Dora Jeffery of St. Albans, WV, after a short illness.

She was a retired beautician and owner of Art Supplies in South Orange, New Jersey. She was a member of WACS -during WWII. A 1937 graduate of Duval High School, Griffithsville, WV.

She is also survived by her: Sisters: Inis McCallister of Griffithsville, WV Zulema Jaynes of Griffrthsville, WV Georgia Dragoo of New Jersey Myrtle Alford of Teays Valley, WV; 1 Brother: Oscar Dragoo of Griffithsville, WV; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 5, 2000 at 11:00 AM at Orchard Hills Memory Gardens, Yawkey. Friends may call Wednesday, October 4, 2000 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home. He was retired from E. I. Dupont at Washington Works, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, AF & AM #79 Griffithsville, was a Baptist and an Army veteran of WWII.
